Michelle Molise’s illustrious career spans over 10 years
in the public relations and marketing industry.
Prior to launching Michelle Molise PR in Chicago, Molise served as director for the entertainment and hospitality division of preeminent PR firm Margie Korshak, Inc. Her client history includes Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Garrett Popcorn Shops, Jillian Harris Design, The Dobbins Group, Durpetti Events, Viaggio Ristorante, Stephanie Castagnier of NBC's The Apprentice, Balani Custom Clothier, Entertainment Cruises at Navy Pier; five Lettuce Entertain You restaurants, Reserve nightclub; Sofitel, Le Bar and Café des Architectes; among many others.
Molise has also led PR efforts in the non-profit sector for DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS), Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and Starlight Children’s Foundation. She serves as PR chair for Imerman Angels (rated Best Charity by Chicago-Scene, Daily Candy & Chicago Social) and for Chicago Gateway Green and its famed Green Tie Ball (rated top charity event by BizBash and Today's Chicago Woman magazine).
Molise has supervised full scale theatre campaigns on behalf of Broadway In Chicago for WICKED, Jersey Boys, Disney’s Mary Poppins and Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple; world premiere engagements like Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me; and the tours of the world’s best Broadway productions.
She launched her career at The Breslin Center, Michigan State University’s events arena. While there, Molise supervised an 80-person production staff as the MSU basketball team reached National Champion status. She also promoted live shows ranging from Bob Dylan and KISS to Maya Angelo, and a hysteria-filled evening of Backstreet Boys.
Her success led her to Olympia Entertainment, handling marketing for live sports & entertainment events at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers; and Joe Louis Arena, home to the Red Wings and at that time, the glistening Stanley Cup. Molise promoted shows at the Cobo Arena, Second City Theatre, and the Fox Theatre, nationally ranked number one in ticket sales during her tenure.
Molise then joined the consumer marketing team at Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of journalism and the media realm. A highlight of her stint there was serving as a promotional partner to the Detroit Pistons, where Molise was able to be part of their National Championship win against the Lakers.
She currently is a member of the Chicago Grammy Chapter and the West Loop Organization. Molise also writes monthly for Chicago Scene magazine.
